Play-Based Support for Growing Learners
Partnering with families and schools to help children thrive at home, in the classroom, and in their community.
Who I am
Teal Benedetti M.S., Ed
Hi! I’m Teal!
As a young child, I would line up my teddy bears and dolls, set up a pretend classroom, and proudly teach my “students”. Years later, I find myself doing exactly what I dreamed of back then—supporting children as they learn, grow, and discover their place in the world.
I am an early childhood educator and child development specialist with a New York State Professional License in Early Childhood Special Education. My current role consists of working with young children in both the classroom and home settings by focusing on play-based learning and developmentally appropriate strategies that build the foundational skills needed for long-term academic and life success. By looking at the child as a whole—understanding their strengths, needs, and developmental profile—I help create environments where children can thrive both in school and in the community.
I also work closely with families, educators, and multi-disciplinary teams to bridge the gap between home and school, ensuring that children receive consistent, meaningful support across all settings.
