Fun Fact:

I am a native New Yorker! I love sunshine, the beach, traveling, and spending time with my dog, Blanche!

I am an early childhood educator and child development specialist with a New York State Professional License in Early Childhood Special Education and over 15 years of experience working with young children and a wide range of learners. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood General Education from St. Francis College and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Bank Street College of Education, where my belief in play-based, child-centered learning was deeply shaped.

My career began as a teacher’s assistant in a special education classroom, where I learned the importance of observation, patience, and meeting children where they are. I then became the head teacher, a role I held for over seven years. During that time, I developed a strong foundation in supporting children with diverse learning profiles while collaborating closely with families and multidisciplinary teams.

I later transitioned into the role of a Special Education Itinerant Teacher (SEIT)—a role I continue to truly enjoy. Being a SEIT has allowed me to see the world through a child’s eyes, support children across different environments, and help create meaningful connections between home, school, and community.

As a parent coach and school support, I also work closely with families, teachers, related service providers, and school-based teams to better understand each child’s unique strengths and developmental needs. My approach is rooted in play, relationship-building, and a whole-child perspective, with the goal of helping every child feel supported, capable, and included.

I believe that when adults work together and truly understand a child, we can create environments where children don’t just succeed—but thrive!
